ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
PUFFINS PRE-SCHOOL AIMS TO:

We have good relationships with Beer Primary School and also have links with, and offer transition to, Seaton School.
WE ARE VERY PROUD OF OUR SCHOOL. Puffins Pre-School was purpose-built in 2001 in the grounds of Beer C of E Primary School. The entrance is light and bright and each child has his/ her own peg with their name and photograph above it. Our large white board above the children's pegs helps to keep parents and carers informed of our latest news and information.
OUR PLAY ROOM is a large bright open plan room with wonderful views. All the toys are stored in clearly labelled boxes which makes it easy for the children to make their own choices. The main part of the room has non slip flooring and the role play area and book corner are carpeted and contain soft cushions, giving children a place to relax.
OUTSIDE PLAY is very well catered for and we have two well equipped outside areas. At the front - we have a soft tarmac play area with a large age appropriate climbing frame and slide, with lots of vehicles to ride including trikes and cars and a mural across the width of the area depicting the local businesses in the village. At the back - we have a large area of decking with steps that run down to a large garden where the children are able to run around, dig the soil, plant flowers and vegetables and explore nature.
