FOREST SCHOOL SESSIONS
Our Forest School encourages an appreciation and understanding of the natural world and builds self-esteem and confidence. This is achieved through regular visits to local woodland areas throughout the year, except in extreme weather conditions.
The Forest School concept was first mastered in Sweden and Demark in the 1950's and it is recognised that this 'outdoor' approach to learning can have a huge impact on the natural development of children.
Since the sessions are learner led, they go at the pace of the learners so that everyone is included and no one is left out.
